G's history

In 1952, Guy Shropshire purchased 330 acres of land near the town of Ely in Cambridgeshire. He originally sold fresh celery in traditional wooden crates to wholesalers, after which he invested in a specialized packing facility for washed celery, and thus the company Guy Pack was born. The company soon became famous as G's, which is short for Guy's.

In 1985, when supermarkets required always fresh goods 365 days a year, Guy expanded to Spain and began producing crops to supply the United Kingdom during the winter months.

Today, G's is one of the largest European producers of fresh crops.
